Consider for instance that there is something
behind or beyond the phrase "knowledge is
power". This is not revolutionary.
Taoists have envisioned that there is a contrary
principle which pervades the nature of the
world.
Machiavelli writes that the right of the nation is
in the hands of the princes.
The point of view then is that arbitrary
knowledge, the knowledge of mere advantage,
is in the hands of arbitrary princes, even
common-seeming characters who may pervade
the world with their "excessive" knowledge of
minutia.
Consider however, that there may be hidden
rules to real "policies" as a name for separate
countries.
Perhaps some citizens subscribe to murder
without being victimizers. Perhaps other
citizens are always petty liars while not being
the worst things in the world. Sometimes its like
Democrats are always Level 2.
Some imagination reaches towards a world in
which we are governed by the very numbers.
