MINIATURE COURSE: IDEALISM

PARADISE AND SELF-CONCEPTUALISM

Consider notions of the paradisal realm:

They may be Utilitarian, like an Epicure's
divided plate.

They may be majesterial, like Heaven and Hell,
or 5 Gardens.

They may be abstractions of the mind, like
something psychological ruminated upon a
couch.

What is common to these ideas is categories.

The Epicure looks to his meal, and finds the
introvert and the extravert, or the tailor and the
prince.

Heaven and Hell define archetypal personas
like Politicians, Musicians, and Clowns.

A notion of a garden defines dream elements
which may seem like rampant animals, desired
friendships, or significant meals.

Ruminatively, the mind is the key aspect of self.
Categories become aspects of the modular
personality, the effectual intelligence. It is only
for us to dream that these categories are
always paradises, which are effectual because
they are intelligent.
